NPH (Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California) leads Affordable Housing Month, a regional initiative that brings communities together around housing advocacy. “Love Begins with Home” was a multi-channel campaign created to inspire awareness, connection, and collective action across the Bay Area. The work spanned print and digital, building a unified presence across every touchpoint.

Housing insecurity continues to impact communities across the region, requiring messaging that is both urgent and human. The challenge was to create a campaign that could resonate widely, communicate a complex issue with clarity, and scale across multiple formats while remaining visually consistent and emotionally compelling.

Approach

The direction focused on creating a bold and cohesive campaign system. A visual language was developed to feel vibrant, accessible, and grounded in community. The concept was translated across a wide range of touchpoints, including posters, flyers, out-of-home, merchandise, social media, digital and interactive banners. The system was designed to scale seamlessly across print and digital, while maintaining a strong and recognizable presence. Campaign assets were also featured across key moments, including NPH’s annual event, bringing the work into both physical and digital spaces.

outcome

The result is a campaign that connects with both community and impact. The work reached over 115K+ residents and generated 250K+ social impressions through storytelling and partnerships. A unified campaign that raised awareness, inspired participation, and reinforced a shared message: everyone deserves a place to call home.
