GoTo Foods is a multi-brand food company with a portfolio that includes McAlister’s, Cinnabon, Schlotzsky’s, Carvel, Moe’s, and other well-known restaurant brands. This project focused on improving brand consistency across digital touchpoints, auditing each brand experience, identifying opportunities for refinement, and creating scalable systems across web and email.

Each brand had its own personality, audience, and visual language, but consistency across channels was not always aligned. The challenge was to review each brand carefully, identify where the experience felt fragmented, and improve the design system without losing the individuality of each brand.
Approach
The direction focused on auditing, refining, and extending each brand across key digital channels. For web, this included updating pages with stronger visuals, improved layouts, and more consistent UX/UI across brands like McAlister’s and Cinnabon. For email, it included creating flexible template systems for brands like Schlotzsky’s, Carvel, and Moe’s, making communications more cohesive and easier to scale. The work balanced brand consistency with each brand’s unique voice, creating systems that felt connected, practical, and easy to use across teams.
outcome
The result is a stronger digital ecosystem across multiple restaurant brands. Each brand gained more consistent, polished, and scalable touchpoints across web and email, helping improve clarity, efficiency, and brand recognition across channels.
